The Blackstar ID:CORE 100 takes all of the features from the ID:CORE series and puts a bit more power behind them. For even greater possibilities, it's got a looper and an octaver on board too. This 100-watt guitar amp is loud enough for live performances with two 10-inch speakers that deliver super wide stereo sound. For a powerful amp that is equipped with two speakers, it is relatively light. That makes it an excellent choice if you often carry your own gear to rehearsals or performances. While it may be relatively light in weight, it is nothing of the sort when it comes to features.
ID:CORE 100: a broad palette of sounds
The Blackstar ID:CORE 100 has 3 fully-programmable channels with six voices consisting of clean warm, clean bright, crunch, super crunch, OD1 and OD2. There are controls for gain and volume, as well as a 3-band EQ for adjusting the bass, middle and treble. The controls also include Blackstar's patented ISF knob that lets you change the character of the amp's sound from British to American and everything in between. There's also a comprehensive effects section with modulation, delay and reverb effects with four variations per type. The ID:CORE 100 also has an octaver effect on board that lets you adjust the sound by an octave up or down.
Never-ending fun with the built-in looper
The ID:CORE series was already versatile, but now it's even more so. The Blackstar ID:CORE 100 and its bigger brother the 150 have a looper function built in. The looper allows you to record a section of up to 30 seconds in length and is easy to operate with the included foot switch to let your creativity run wild. For even more hands free control, Blackstar offers an optional foot switch with five buttons.
Practical extra functions and software
The ID:CORE 100 has a USB connector so that you can easily connect it to your computer for recording purposes. It's also possible to upload, edit and store sounds on your computer using the free downloadable software. You'll also find an MP3/line input so that you can connect an external sound source, a headphone socket with speaker emulation for practising silently or recording, and a stereo effects loop so that you can connect your favourite pedals. Previously owned an ID:CORE 40, and the change to 100 is massive, speakers are crystal clear, a good price for a really good amp, really versatile if using different pedals with it, even the build-in looper is pretty good! Haven't digged too much into the USB features but having that included is nice to have. Blackstar amplification is a really underrated brand.
zeer mooie versterker, fantastisch geluid en dito mogelijkheden, geen gebrom of ruis, kwam goed verpakt en binnen de beloofde tijd aan, ben er heel erg blij mee.

Nooit meer wat anders.
Ik heb jaren gedroomd van een blackstar. Door een krap budget heb ik er nooit 1 kunnen bemachtigen. Tot vandaag...
Licht in gewicht, niet te groot en niet te klein. Geen geruis. Perfect voor in een flat. Ik woon 10 hoog en je kan het geluid heel zacht zetten zonder dat de kwaliteit van het geluid achteruit gaan. Effecten zijn super cool! Mijn gitaar spel lijkt professioneel met de effecten.
Ik heb echt zenuwen gehad vandaag voordat hij kwam. Het was echt de moeite waard allemaal. Mijn droom is uitgekomen.
Zeer tevreden met deze versterker. Veel mogelijkheden , met Fs 12 "optioneel" is hij helemaal ok!
goede amp maar voor de prijs raad ik de BOSS katana aan
Zeer goede versterker met goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en veel mogelijkheden. Zeker een aanrader dus
Après 10 ans passés avec un ampli tout lampe, après 10 ans à payer les frais d'entretien que cela implique, je me suis décidé à changer de mode de fonctionnement. Pourtant partisan du "tout-lampe", j'ai cherché à savoir ce qui se faisait en transistor ou autre, mais sans lampes, et suis tombé sur les amplis à modélisation.
J'en ai essayé en nombre, dans les gammes Blackstar jusqu'au Boss Katana en passant par Peavey electronics.
Sans aucune hésitation, le Blackstar ID:Core 100 est la plus belle surprise qui soit! Des possibilités infinies de modélisation et de looping, des effets stéréo de qualité, et un son (clair ou saturé) digne des meilleurs amplis à lampes! Le tout pour un prix ridicule! Aussi, pour ceux qui doutent, l'ampli se comporte très bien à haut volume, et est largement suffisant pour tout type de concert!
La dictature du "tout lampe," en ce qui me concerne, et en termes de son, a pris fin. ;)
